A constant force at the front of domestic races, Johnny McEvoy recorded multiple top-five results in his first year with Madison Genesis.
Racking up a series of podium performances, McEvoy's consistency was rewarded with the British GP Series title, sealing the victory after four rounds of competition, with a fourth place finish at the Leicester Castle Classic.
Taking on his first Tour of Britain back in 2008 at just 19-years-old, he has completed six editions of the race as part of a long history in the sport.
A string of podium performances at the 2015 Tour Series and a finisher of Paris Roubaix highlights a varied and progressive decade in cycling.
“I had a good and very consistent year in 2016 with so many podium places - for 2017 I can't wait to get going with Madison Genesis and turn some podiums into wins.”
