A third-place on the night for Tobyn Horton meant Madison Genesis finished second team and retained their second place overall as the Tour Series reached its halfway point in Croydon.
Horton sprinted from a group of three, which went clear from a lead group of 19-men on the penultimate lap.
Alex Paton placed sixth in the rapidly-closing peloton and with Rich Handley and Gruff Lewis also placing in the top-20, their runners-up spot was secured.
The result was however a hard-fought one after the team were forced to chase and regain contact at the midway point of the race.
Once back in the lead group, the team looked assured, with their record for the series so far standing at a pair of thirds, a pair of seconds and a pair of firsts.
That puts Madison Genesis just two points off of series leaders JLT Condor after six races, with five rounds remaining.
The series continues in Bath on Saturday night, before moving north to Motherwell, Aberdeen and Durham next week and concluding in Stevenage on Monday 29 May.
